Life's Many Choices

Imagine a scenerio where you are not able to make a single decision or choice for yourself. You have no say in anything that affects you. You do not even have the ability to speak for yourself. Full and total control is in the hands of others. This includes even the question of whether your life will be permitted to continue or be ended in an excrutiatingly painful manner at any given point.

You have just imagined the situation facing human babies before they are born. Every decision we freely make involves a CHOICE. Prior to birth, human babies do not have the opportunity to make any choices. When they are older (if they have been allowed to be born) they have the opportunity to make more and more choices on their own. If a human baby is killed via abortion, he or she will NEVER make even one SINGLE choice in their very brief life. How can it be "pro-choice" to allow one human to kill another human and DENY the victim of all opportunities to make choices?

You might say "this is just a clump of cells," "this is only a potential human," "this is just a fetus," etc. A human being, like all other creatures, goes through stages of growth in life. We have all gone through these stages. We cannot exist if we have not. To say that people in the earliest stages of life are "not human" and can be freely killed when convenient is nothing more than discrimination.
